Hip Pop Drinks wins listing at Harrods after Virtual Pitch
by Sofia Santini
Hip Pop Drinks participated in virtual pitch events, in different categories relevant to their healthy drink products. After pitching in the Food to Go category, they were contacted by Harrods to list their products.
"When we heard about Product Guru, we jumped at the chance to get our product in front of buyers. It was super easy to use and set up a lightning pitch session and we quickly had requests for samples after the session. We were blown away when the senior buyer of Harrods contacted us after trying our organic kombucha to let us know that we had been chosen as their second only ever Kombucha brand. We’re super excited to win such a prestigious account for Hip Pop!”

The brand's experience with Virtual Pitch Events
Hip Pop Drinks participated in a number of virtual pitch events to impress retailers. They showcased and pitched their products in the Food to Go, Chilled Drinks, and Healthy Drinks lightning pitch categories.
After their pitch in the Food to go category, Harrod's requested samples of their award-winning kombucha, which then landed them their winning listing with the famous high-end department store.
Our virtual pitch events are a can't-miss opportunity for buyers to meet with challenger brands and innovative products. At each virtual pitch event, challenger brands have 7 minutes to pitch their product and receive real-time feedback from buyers.

About the brand
Hip Pop Drinks is an award-winning UK kombucha brand and small family business.
"We’re not forced to add processed sweeteners like Stevia/Erythritol or use marketing shizzle to cover any misgivings. This allows us to experiment and play until we create honest Kombucha that speaks for itself - full of flavour, body and goodness."
“As a team, we love trying out new gut-friendly drinks – everything from Kombucha to Apple Cider Vinegar Sodas to Water Kefir. The problem we’ve found is that often, the taste isn’t accessible, or it lacks any kind of depth/character. We want it to become the norm to drink gut-focused drinks in the UK and to achieve this we need to provide drinks that have been craft brewed so they taste great and have plenty of depth/character, giving them a memorable experience rather than just another bland (or nasty tasting) “gut-friendly” soft drink churned out in a soulless factory."
