Happy Inside wins listing with Springvale Foods following Virtual Pitch

Happy Inside took part in our Virtual Pitches to showcase their natural & gut friendly drinks in the Healthy Drinks category, which led to them winning a listing with Springvale Foods.

Charlie Knockton, founder of Happy Inside, took part in our Virtual pitch event in 2021, on a mission to impress a panel of retailers with his unique range of healthy drinks

The team at Happy Inside received sample requests from retailers following the pitch. They were successful in securing a listing with Springvale Foods, and also benefitted from sparking interest from a national retailer.
We asked Charlie about his experience
What can you tell us about your experience taking part in one of Product Guru's virtual pitches?
Charlie told us that the brand managed to secure a wholesaler listing and also interest from a national retailer, and expressed that the Virtual Pitch experience was very beneficial to the company.
"The buyers from Springvale Foods were great and got in touch instantly following our pitch. After some negotiation over price, we managed to secure a listing. The experience made me create a pitch which I hadn't settled on, so that was very helpful. In general, it was a smooth process and it was very beneficial to us!"

About the brand
Happy Inside specialises in a range of still drinks for gut health, made with natural ingredients. With no added sugar, these drinks are low-calorie, also vegan and gluten-free.
After having to sell his food-truck due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Happy Inside founder Charlie started experimenting in his home kitchen - disillusioned with the soft drinks available online and in stores, he went on to create a drink with amazing taste and that would be kind on gut health issues. Charlie's own experience with gut health issues (ulcerative colitis) were motivation for his product development.
Charlie combined fruit juices with water and botanicals to create drinks full of natural ingredients, that also tasted delicious. One of the key ingredients used by Happy Inside is Japanese knotweed, a natural antioxidant that contributes towards the microbiome - the happy bacteria in your gut, and the normal function of the immune system.
